Vigan: Ilocos Sur Pottery
One of the tourist destination in Vigan, Ilocos Sur is this Pottery shop. A ride from a “Kalesa” Chariot if you are in the famous Calle Crisologo (One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites). It’s not hard to distinguish this place as handicraft is actually scattered outside.
Kuya Bong Bong the potter make’s it look simple. I was lucky to caught up with him and took this shot while he’s working. He can't talk while he’s molding due to great concentration is needed to perfect this craft.
And to actually see how he’s doing it. It’s like this way… Frozen for a period of time.
